Mask 2.0

Primal's Mask 2.0 offers valuable improvements over the already nice original mask. 1. Adjustable length straps allow the straps to fit comfortably over my ears and have the mask securely attached to my face. 2. The adjustment strap cleverly acts more or less like a necklace, allowing the mask to dangle off my face at my chest without falling off my person. This is huge while cycling. I lost my original Primal mask out of a pocket. But version 2.0 I keep around my neck while not in use. 3. A flexible metal nose piece comfortably conforms the mask to my nose for a better fit and less fogging of my glasses. It's subtle. I didn't immediately notice its presence. The little plastic X-frame keeps the mask away from your mouth. This is a nice feature. It's most appropriate for walking or mostly idle activities. Driving? Walking? In the office? Sure. The problem is that the X-frame easily falls out of the mask when the mask isn't on your face. I fear I'd lose the X-frame while cycling. Being clear plastic, it would be difficult to find on the street. Maybe I can stitch the X-frame into the mask with a needle and thread so it stays securely attached. At least two other cyclists I know have used the X-frame in the mask 2.0 while cycling and prefer it.
