But luckily for us, the end of the premiere Colorado Classic is just the beginning. The women's two stages totaled 70.36 miles, with 5,890 feet of elevation gain. The men completed four stages totaling 313.1 miles and 21,587 feet of elevation gain.
There were a couple of crashes, one of which we caught - William Clarke taking a sliding spill around a corner:
It reminds us that cycling is a dangerous sport, but even gnarly spills show us how the strong survive.
There were hundreds of vendors and bands like, Death Cab for Cutie, Saint Motel, Wilco, and Old 97's who graced us with their presence.
This was truly a phenomenal event and one we were proud and very grateful to be part of.
We met some awesome and amazing folks as we sublimated jerseys and sold our merch. The fans, the riders, the spectators, the visitors, the partiers, the beer-drinkers, the laughers, and everyone who helped us reach this point as a company.
We love bikes. We love Colorado. We love people. We love our community.
