This jacket is definitely warmer than a windbreaker, so it’s ideal when temperatures are 50 degrees or below. I do believe it would be difficult to fit the jacket into any kind of cycling bag. I like the front pocket which will comfortably fit a wallet or a smaller cell phone. So, it’s the ideal jacket for fairly cold days when it will remain cold.

I like the hi-vis of the color for great visibility, but the zipper is backwards for men's clothing.

This jacket is very warm. It’s loose fitting on my frame. And believe I bought a medium and I am 6 foot tall 170 pounds athletic with very long arms 34–35 inches. I’m happy with the purchase even though it does not fit as athletically as much of my cycling wear does. The little bit of air probably makes for the warmer feeling on cold days. I have to admit I got mine on sale not sure I would’ve paid full price for the color combination, it’s pretty loud.

I got this jacket earlier this year. Wasn’t sure about the size & I ordered both a large & a medium. The med. fits fine with some room for an undergarment or winter jersey. The real surprise is that the large fits nicely over the med.! This is really nice when it’s cold. I never thought about such an arrangement, but it’s great. Not too bulky & not too tight, it’s a perfect combination. The med. is fine by itself when not as cold. This jacket situation I have with the two sizes allows me a lot of variation to suit the particular weather. These jackets are form fitting. Not too tight & not too loose. I was only planning to keep the one that fit me best, but they both work for me & with the unexpected combination, even better. Hint: when needing more wind protection, Primal has a decent wind jacket that fits over this jacket. If you get hot, it stuffs into a pocket well.
