Primal ECO-SYSTEM

Primal Eco-Sytem

The Primal Eco-System initiative includes a line of materials, products, packaging, services, and actions to create a more responsible and sustainable way of doing business.

Sustainable Fabrics.

Echofe
Echofe fabric is made from 100% S.Cafe yarn by the company Singtex. Recycled coffee grounds are processed and combined with master batches of polymer to create a yarn that is used for the fabric. The use of recycled coffee grounds increases the yield of the master batches requiring less polymer and increases the performance of the fabric removing the need for other materials and chemical treatments that are not from a sustainable resource. This process also uses much less water than processing cotton and is less harmful in the manufacturing process than bamboo infused fabrics that use toxic chemicals to make their yarn.

Recycled Fabrics.

AVATAR

AVATAR is a 100% Recycled Fabric by the Italian Fabric Mill EFFEPI, using post-consumer waste. EFFEPI is focusing its efforts on producing fabrics in recycled, GRS-certified polyester, recovering and transforming a material that was once in the shape of a bottle made from the famous PET material obtained from separate waste collection.

Biodegradable Packaging.

All Alitios products feature a 100% biodegradable package, with minimized printing.

Actions.

Custom clients can currently request a bagless delivery of bulk products removing the need for recyclable packaging.

Since 2010 Primal has been an advocate for the Cherry Creek Trail System. Adopting a one-mile section of the trail for trash pick up and maintenance as the city needs.

Ink.

Our sublimation ink is the most environmentally friendly sublimation ink available on the market adhering to the most stringent standards and guidelines. They are 100% water-based and are made with non-hazardous hypoallergenic components. This sublimation process is more environmentally friendly than dyeing fabrics because there is no ink waste and water is not used - so there is not wastewater after the dyeing process.
