Team Estrogen
Founded in 1998, Team Estrogen is an established online retailer of cycling apparel dedicated to providing women with a resource and voice in the industry. In 2018, Team Estrogen has returned with a renewed focus on being the best resource in the world for women’s cycling apparel.
The Team Estrogen brand has been a stand out for women’s cycling apparel and has thousands of happy customers. We will work tirelessly to bring you prints and apparel designed by and for women. We will continue to concentrate on bringing you products in regular and plus sizes and a highly curated collection of cycling bottoms with industry-leading chamois. Team Estrogen Forums will continue to be a place for women to discuss and meet new cyclists. We will work to provide additional content and resources for the forums and those that take advantage of them.
Continuing the vision of the Team Estrogen brand will be Jessica Lozano and Shawna Edwards, the COO, and CFO of Primal Wear, Inc. The two sisters have grown up in the cycling industry, from folding jerseys in the warehouse to now operating Primal through its most expansive years. They are thrilled to share their passion for cycling and knowledge of apparel with this dedicated following.
Today, Primal is a leader in the outdoor industry, with women representing over 55% of its employees and 5 of the 6 Senior Management Team Members.
Additionally, Primal is dedicated to philanthropic giving and supporting causes around the world that truly make a difference in the health and lives of all cyclists. Since 2012 Primal has contributed over $6 Million in support of these causes. Primal is currently partnered with The National Multiple Sclerosis Society, The American Diabetes Association, The Children’s Hospital Colorado, The American Heart & American Stroke Association, Venus de Miles, and many more organizations in the US. Our common thread is the bike and our goal is to connect and inspire unforgettable experiences.
