Team LIVESTRONG celebrated its 11th Anniversary at RAGBRAI this year and over more than a decade, this team has raised over $1.5 million to support people affected by cancer. At the end of the week more than friendships are formed and a family continues to grow. The love, courage and inspiration can be seen from town to town with the amazing group of cancer fighters. They ride representing the mission of LIVESTRONG in training and fundraising: to inspire and empower those affected by cancer.
Since 1997, the LIVESTRONG has been helping those affected by cancer to fight, heal and recover. LIVESTRONG fights for the more than 32.6 million people around the world affected by cancer. They provide direct services, connect people and communities with the services they need, and call for state, national and world leaders to help fight this disease. Celebrating 20 years of fighting for cancer survivors, LIVESTRONG surpasses the 3.5-million-people-served milestone by helping people receive free cancer support services. The organization has raised $550 million to support programs that serve people affected by cancer.

Or Kenny who was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at age 23. He is not yet cancer free but Kenny continues to stay optimistic and encouraged.
