The new Ilex MTB Short is light-weight and breathable. The velcro strap waist keeps everything securely in place, through the roughest rides. Equipped with two front pockets and a rear reflective zip pocket for a high volume of storage space. Pair with one of our MTB liners for the most comfortable ride.

I'm 6'-2" and normally wear a 34-35 waist, but when purchasing these went for a larger size (XL) because I wanted some room in shorts. Thinking they were going to be just that just a little big, but NOPE, they are snug snug snug. They're stretchy so, thats a plus, but not what I was hoping for. Some small things to consider too, they've got no pockets at the sides. They have one pocket at the butt, which I found odd because I don't know who rides with something in their seat pocket...having to sit on the saddle and all. So I would think a future mod, they might consider a side pocket instead. But it is what is is, and the quality is good and the material is good as is usual with Primal gear.
